Located in Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square, Future Food Systems is showing Australians how we can innovate the ways in which we think about produce and living a sustainable lifestyle.
Led by eco-innovator, Joost Bakker, Future Food Systems is a self-sustained structure, temporary home to chef Matt Stone and Jo Barrett and exclusive dining room to the public, offering dishes from produce sourced and grown from the house.
By up-cycling what is regarded as waste to power the house and grow nutrient-dense, delicious produce, Future Food Systems demonstrates the potential of our homes to provide shelter, produce food and generate energy.
In addition to serving fresh produce, the team at Future Food Systems is proud to also serve freshly brewed coffee on their own Linea Mini and Mazzer Mini Electric B Grinder.
