La Marzocco Prints – George Bates

Based in Brooklyn, NY, George Bates is an artist who specialises in illustration, hand lettering and public art.

Recognised for his work in The New York Times, The LA Times, MTV and Virgin Mobile, George has collaborated with La Marzocco to create a series of art prints.

While visiting La Marzocco’s factory and birthplace in Florence, Italy, George was inspired by the unique culture and passion of the brand, often finding himself drawing images on the factory floor as the employees assembled espresso machinery by hand and had rousing matches of foosball on their lunch breaks.
